I've always liked to build things. Since I outgrew Lego I've been building software, development teams and most recently companies.

I'm Founder and CTO of Rapid Mobile Media Ltd in Edinburgh, Scotland. We founded the company in February 2004. We mobilise applications, but are now focussing on Ad360 Mobile Advertising Platform.

I like to think of us as creating mobile applications that people actually use, but we go much deeper than that.

This blog, however, is much more about my observations on the last frontier, the world of mobile technology. And anything else that crosses my path.

Most popular sites on Vodafone

The back of the envelope in which my Vodafone bill arrived lists the top ten mobile internet sites visited in December 2007 by Vodafone users. Not clear if that is from the phone or broadband, but it’s interesting either way, and even more interesting that they are promoting this so clearly. Here they are, in order:

  1. Facebook
  2. Sky
  3. Google
  4. BBC
  5. MSN
  6. MySpace
  7. Bebo
  8. Yahoo!
  9. Nokia
  10. Sony Ericsson

Don’t know whether Vodafone Live! was excluded from this list of features below 10, presumably the later as most people will hit the front page before moving elsewhere.
